And i'd assume that any interest in the player comes from the time he was with our club as we have seen alot more of him than yourselves or City. And it has to be said that he is far too inconsistent. He is a great player on his day but his day does not come round enough! I actualy like him as a player and his style of football and i probably could forgive his insulting behaviour towards us - but there are better options for lower wages available imo.
Not sure I'd want him. Good player, but in spurts. Will go missing after Christmas when he gets bored again. Actually, the only players from Spurs I'd take would be VDV and maybe Modric (although he doesn't get enough goals or assists).
