You obviously didn't watch the whole of the United game. We matched them for 70 minutes of that game, and could have gone ahead before half time. Yeah, we ended up losing concentration towards the end and it cost us dear, but you could never have seen us conceding 8 against them, like Arsenal did. And we didn't have Adebayor or Parker available for that game, or quite a few of our regular starters. As for the City game, just wait until you come up against them and see how badly your lot fares Tomorrow will prove to everyone whether or not either of our clubs have any pretensions to the top 4, but even if we don't take all three points off you (which I think we will), we'll still prove that we are in far better shape than Arsenal, at this point in time.
you are probably in slightly better shape, but they will improve.but the way you talk about your start is ridiculous. P17- P3- L2- W1- D0. GD -5 That is the table and it doesn't lie.the only win you got was against wolves and they even got hammered at home to qpr today.i personally think arsenal will come good and pip you to 5th.
Come on! Stop acting like you are a muppet, because I sense that you are better than that. We lost our first two games to the two teams that will run away with the EPL this season. Stop acting like LFC is going to get anything out of either United or City, because you are not. Had our game against Everton not been cancelled, we'd now be sat in 11th spot with a game in hand on most of the teams around us.
I think I've been vindicated with my opinion that Adebayoor and the whole spurs midfield would walk straight into Liverpool's starting 11. Liverpool's midfield was well and truely over run by Spurs midfield from start to finish, the only way they could stop them was by hacking
The talent has always been there with Adebayoor, his biggest problem is his attitude. We seen with Arsenal that once he doesn't want to be at a club, he will just sulk. If Spurs can keep him happy all season I have no doubt they will finish 4th
Still Liverpool, with Spurs and Arsenal roughly even behind them. I wonder how that'll change after Liverpool have played Utd and City?
Ironically, we'll probably ditch our poor form and give you the best games you'll have all season - it's the way we approach those types of games unfortunately.
