Is the prediction after 90 mins or at the end of the tie?

 

Arsenal 3, Giroud, Sanchez, Ramsey

Villa 1, Benteke

 

History is not on our side. I don't know why we seem to play very flat when we play teams we should be finishing off easily. Wigan and Hull last season, and Reading in the semi-final this season. I can see us huffing and puffing again, today and be picked off by Villa. I just hope I am wrong. So I will go for a 2-1 victory to Villa. Pains me as I say this.

points are for the prediction - be it after 90 mins or extra time. so if predicting a draw then you can win points for the result and scorers.
for example prediction 1 - 1, result after extra time 1 - 1, so would get 5 points and bonus for naming correct scorers.

if it goes to penalties then the points are for predicting the result.

so if you predict arsenal 2 - 1 and it goes to extra time and penalties then you won't get correct score points or scorer bonus - just the 2 points for predicting arsenal win if arsenal win the shoot out.

 

So regardless of the outcome of penalties, the person who predicted the draw gets full points right?

 

Actually thinking about it no they can't as they predicted a draw and there would be a winner ! So if it's a draw at 90 mins but winner in extra time then those that predict win will get points and if draw aet then penalties then as there is a winner then they get the points !

Ave you added all the bonus points for final league position, those who predicted we would win the fa cup, etc...?

As I notice at the start of the thread everyone predicted how far we would get in each competition and our final league standing.

Not that I'm saying this because I know I was one of the people to predict us to retain the FA Cup

 

Adding two points for the games I was too late to predict (off the top of my head I can think of three I was going to predict wins but didn't post in time) then I'm sitting comfortably in 5th, I'll take that
