Been reading the thread as you've commented, it truly is unbelievable. Funny because you were actually more or less sticking up for them until that lazarus twat piped up , they really do have some dicks on their board. Best to leave them to debate/argue amongst themselves about their wonderful classy club and Saint Ozil.

Exactly. They are allowed criticize their club and say they are big game bottlers but we aren't I got banned over for arguing that Arsenal aren't such a well-run club and that Bayern were way ahead of them in 2012 (that their commercial development was poor and That Bayern was a better run club) and that chelsea would make FFP. Two years on they agree with me. Their commercial development is behind Chelsea and Liverpool. Bayern are winning more trophies, revenue is up and their ticket prices are half of Arsenal's

A strange beast, the modern Arsenal fan. There was a time when you could have some decent banter with them - used to bump into some regulars on the tube home after they had played at Highbury, and rarely any needle. Somehow their smugness and arrogance levels have risen conversely in line with their on pitch failures. I've never quite understood the Arse logic of how having money, spending it, and winning things is somehow morally reprehensible, whereas having money, not spending it, and becoming perennial failures, is considered noble and worthy.
It's a shame as a bit of banter is what keeps these boards alive and interesting. If I was offensive or constantly wumming mindlessly then fair enough but that wasn't the case at all. Have to say, full credit to the United board and Mods who have taken a lot of stick this year for United's plight but the United board is still one of the best boards for fans of all clubs to meet and discuss. The irony is, is the Arsenal board is full of people arguing amongst themselves and constantly slagging off their own club but don't accept anyone else saying anything remotely against the club. As you say, happy to give it out but not take it. You'd think with the good season they are having they'd be a little more chilled out.
The in fighting on the arsenal board gives a slightly tense edge to the board so it's easy enough for things to get worked up. When you spend so long trying to convince a few of your own fans that we are doing well rival fan comments can set the whole thing off lol In general I think the arsenal board for the most part is fairly welcoming to opposition fans. Have to say I find the Chelsea board the most aggressive (for want of a better word). But I appreciate sometimes the rival fan can get turned on, it's the same with every other board though. Your last line though Couldn't agree more with, season going well yet so much negativity on the arsenal forum. It does come from a very select few the majority of the time though. Don't be sad pandas!

What happened to Chelsea 100 yesterday was nothing short of a farce. I was looking at every post and it was actually an Arsenal fan who provocated things after Chelsea 100 agreed with him !! Yet he still continued to remain civil and attempt to engage in a bit of banter despite other 'welcoming' members spouting off about class and other bollocks - including racism. You have by far the strangest board on the site with the most, shall we say, 'high maintenance' members by some distance.
Agreed. We have 2 or 3 assholes (for lack of a better term), on our board who just attack fans of opposition teams at the slightest provocation and go overboard. The Arsenal board is the same but they have around 5-6 asshats who do exactly the same and one is a mod!!
