No, the old game was, "Ramsay has been playing poorly for a very long time". This was a true statement.

This new game is a case of pointing out the obvious... Ramsay is not in top form at the moment. This is also a true statement.

The only Arsenal players who've played consistently anywhere near 'well' so far (I'd say) are Koscielny, Debuchy and Chambers (apart from being a bit raw in places).

The offensive part of our game has been erratic so far.

Actually I agree with your comments, I was just getting a bit touchy on behalf of Ramsay. We don't really seemed to have 'clicked' in any areas so far this season and it was a particularly frustrating display at Leicester. We need a step up in level to deal with City and losing players to international injuries wont help things.

Err no as quite a few of our players aren't playing on top form. I'm just saying that others can come in and do a job in case of Ramsey's injury absence. I was trying to put a positive story on it, as I think he is one of our key players.

He is one of our key players and is enjoying a bit of good form (but not necessarily 'top' form) as A97 points out and it was distressing to see him limp off last night. But you are right, we now have some depth in the squad and we should have enough in that squad for someone to step in for him. I hope Ozil is not suffering any thing - it would be tough without both of them against City

True it will be tougher for us if Ozil is out. That's why I think Rosicky should be brought into our midfield to shore it up. He is probably our best midfielder at keeping possession and this is something we can't afford to be poor at when you have the calibre of attackers City has.

Not keeping the ball has been one of the most frustrating aspects of the games this season. Rosicky offers a lot to a team and would not be out of his depth coming in against City-maybe at Wilshere's expense if Ramsay and Ozil are fit.
