I think this is even funnier coming from a Spurs fan.

I don't think it necessarily determines our ambitions on whether or not we sign a striker in january, even if we do have money to spend it is extremely difficult to try and do a deal in the january transfer window, there isn't very much time and clubs will put up the price on all their prised assets at least until the end of the campaign. Giroud has looked better recently and seems to be finding some form and we also have podolski and gervinho that can play in the forward role so we do have options there, there is not very much action in the january window anyway and we have a host of players coming back. We don't even know if we have the proposed money anyway because we basically spent what we made in the summer.

    Don't be so silly.

    1. Would he? Do you even know how much he's on? To even reach his asking price you'd have to more than double your record transfer fee.
    2. Possibly.
    3. To take that logic out of reasonable context like you did with Swindon, does that make Reading an attracitve option to Falcao?
    4. So RVP was right to leave for United then?
    5. Spiritual home of football, what on Earth are you on about?

Why? I haven't said Falcao would join Spurs. It doesn't even matter who I support, I could be an Aldershot fan but still see that Falcao's unlikely to jump at the chance of joining Arsenal.

His hat trick against Chelsea has already guaranteed him a move to a moneybags club, mentioning Falcao and Arsenal in the same sentence is pure delusion

I already said Arsenal would never get him. It's your bigging up of the Europa league that had me rolling on the floor laughing.

A.Madrid paid more for Falcao than we would ever do. That deal is not happening. Also with the third-party ownership involved, this deal could be complicated for clubs in England.
