I reckon it would take a enormous amount to tempt me into selling Sterling, something like the £50m stuff we've been imagining for Suarez. However, if Walcott is involved then it would have to be at least £100m...
Sterling had a very good game again today. I consider him in the Gerrard and Suarez pool of players we have, that he will actually do something exciting and change the game.
1st goes missing in big games 2nd runs into defenders and breaks down an attack 3rd if things go against him nearly trips over his own lip and does sod all for several games 4th No drive to get better 5th ridiculous wage demand In a way i do see why people would say yes for 8mil£ though
Unfair to say he goes missing in big games. He's certainly better than what we have (basically nothing).
Our contract deal, Ive heard Raheem Sterlings deal is already sorted to resign for LFC we just have to wait until hes 18.Sterling will have signed a new contract with LFC before Xmas
Fair enough. On your points: 1st. Dissagree a bit, he gets a lot of goals and assists. We only have Suarez performing in big matches, so he would fit right in. 2nd. Completely agree, his pace is his best asset. If he knocks it and runs, it can work out 3rd. Yep 4th. Don't think he has much to his game other than pace. 5th. My biggest issue is this. However, getting rid of Downing and Cole hopefully frees up a lot of wages and transfer fee. I think Walcott is a brilliant impact player, that most teams would love to have in there squad. His pace is something we could do with more of and his finishing aint too bad. I think its worth it....I would love him on our bench or starting than Downing and Cole.
Walcott is basically a speed merchant. If he had a tendancy to get sent off regularly as well then he would be Djibril Cisse
Walcott is a move sideways not forwards. I do not 100% want a player coming in only because he has pace and is Half decent. Walcott makes far too many poor decisions for my liking which has led to his back seat at arsenal for so long.
