Ozil - was central to everything good we did in attack
Cech - besides that one blunder on the edge of the box he looked good
Flamini - shored up our midfield when he came on

Monreal
bellerin
ozil
sanchez
campbell
santi
flamini
giroud

thought it was a good performance

Ozil
Walcott
Giroud

Special mention to Campbell and Bosscielny

Ozil (MoM)
Walcott
Giroud

Thought all three had really good games, they gave us a great outlet going forward and all worked really hard defensively for the team.

Walcott (Played like a man possessed last night. Impressed with his defensive work)
Campbell (He set the tone for the team's work rate)
Koscielny (put Aguero on timeout)

Oooh innit. Remember late in the game spitting out tea (that's how I roll) when I saw Theo rushing back into our box to make a defensive tackle! I mean...Theo 'kin hell lads, it's the hope that'll kill me. I

Still, only one MoTM for me. If I die over the course of this season, tell Özil I loved him. *swoon*

I am always slow to give Ozil MOTM cause the man is just pure quality. Silent killer. When it comes to players like Ozil there's a bar (a very high one) for me. He has to cross that bar for me to single him out. He's been consistently efficient for us. I find more value in shouting out those who exceed the bar I set for them in my mind.

Theo was unrecognizable last night.

My only negative from the game was AW taking Campbell off when he did. He was just beginning to get into a groove, especially on the ball. He was just starting to play with confidence and belief in his ability to run with the ball (like we see him do for Costa Rica). Right when I thought here we go, Campbell has finally arrived, his number is hoisted up. I blame the goal and Yaya's resurrection on that substitution.
