The 4th point proves everything I said, why can't fans afford to go Arsenal games? Because the prices ARE TOO ****ING HIGH, **** me, that's my entire point! I'm the one shouting about 50p rather than being all elitist and saying hehe what's 50p, I can go to all games and this doesn't change anything bla bla bla. Thanks for making my point, lol. Many fans have trouble as it is, so why increase the price, even if it's 50p?

    Oh, and I don't eat breakfast, :-D.

Why don't you just eat before you leave home,as you've said in the past you only live 30 mins away.If you don't buy food at the ground why do you care what the prices are ?

This is the point really. If you don't buy something, then why the **** moan about it? Somebody has already made the point that you pay over the odds for food in London at major events like this. But you can still get a decent burger and chips for a couple of quid if you walk 5OOyds down the road. You could go on all day about this, whining about the price of Champagne, Wine, Cars, Houses, etc and all sorts of other expsensive items. I can't afford a Audi R8 but who cares ? There are loads of things I can't afford or I think are overpriced, so I simply make the choice not to buy them.

And you are ? Get your head out of your ****ing arse. You choose to spend your money on cheap slapper in a strip club, others choose to spend 5Op extra on a programme. Get over yourself <doh>

The chap in that video is an articulate bloke and makes some interesting points, but they are reactionary. Gazidis' job is not just to negotiate transfers. He is the CEO of the club and responsible for increasing all of our revenue streams. The fact that he's just struck commercial deals to the tune of several hundred million is going to have a far bigger impact on our revenue that people choosing not to buy pies. We all want to see Arsenal buy players, but I think this bloke's attitude is a bit misguided, loss of sales on food and drink is not going to make the board go out and buy players.

Good for you, most people who witnessed his points, including me, and most people commenting on the video, would disagree with you, ;-), as I said, a few of on here are living in your own bubble (you, oxo, afc, toledo)

I'm not living in any bubble mate. I've been around long enough to know my arse from my elbow, so you can shove your ****ing patronising BS where the sun don't shine <ok>

We all want transfers at Arsenal, and I've been the first to criticise the board for selling our best players and not replacing them, being too cautious in the market and for not having a share sale when we could have raised much needed funds in the early part of this century. Our negotiating in the transfer market has been woeful and I think there's some poor communication going on at some level. But neither you or any other angry little man are going to tell me that the only thing Gazidis does is negotiate transfers, because that's clearly crap. His job is to maximise every revenue stream at the club to increase our operating budget, including pies and pints. The fact that he has negotiated multi million pound commercial deals, ensured that we're paying off the stadium and giving us a warchest _ albeit having not spent any yet _ is testament to the fact that the bloke is doing a decent job.

I'm as frustrated as any other Arsenal fan at our constant falling short of what we expect, but going off on a full tilt ****ing rant about 5Op on the price of a programme is neither constructive or offers any solutions.

Solution= stop increasing the pricing. We pay enough as it is, while getting nothing in return.

I wouldn't disagree with that. The prices are high, but you can still get relatively cheap tickets for cat B and C games, what I disagree with is the almost doubling of the price for cat A games.

As for food, I just don't buy it. I go elsewhere. But that's the same of any major event. Buy a sandwich from a supermarket a hundred yards down the road or pay triple the price for it at the event.

5Op on a programme ? I'd rather the increase wasn't there, but I've been at events where you can pay £7-£1O for a programme, so I don't think £3.5O is too bad to be honest.

I think you are the one living in a bubble. I am afraid as you get older you will have to take a more practical view of the world. Yes we would all like Arsenal to win. But everybody at Arsenal could do a perfect job for the next 100 years and we might still not win anything. This isn't a video game balanced to let you win, if you do the right things. The world isn't fair and karma doesn't exist, you don't get what you deserve.

This whole viewpoint is naïve in the extreme. I believe that Kronke wants us to win, but he is not going to gamble his fortune, in order to do it. Nor is he going to reward an employee if he risks his fortune. Expecting him to do that is crazy.

I still get the impression that there is an assumption at the root of every Arsenal fan's unhappiness, that if everybody "Did the right thing", we would win trophies. I don't see that with Liverpool or Spurs fans (or Everton or Newcastle fans), and I don't understand why so many Arsenal fans have it.

Why so many fans see it, erm, LOL, I'll tell you why:

-Selling the likes of RVP, Nasri, Clichy, and Fabregas, and to replace them with sack of ****s like Gervino, Santos, and adding other mediocre players to the squad like Chamakh, Park.

There? THAT'S CALLED NOT DOING THE RIGHT THING, doing the right thing= BUYING GOOD PLAYERS.

I know since you like to always make excuses, your excuses run out now when we lay down the facts.

-In the 2012 season we made 7 signings, out of those 7 signings, only 3 of those players remain at the club, **** me, in the space of 2 seasons, 4 new signings have been shipped out, one of them on a free. That's what you call **** SIGNINGS.

Not only were these players terrible, most Arsenal fans will even say that some of these players were the worst to ever play for Arsenal, many were calling Santos the worst left back to ever put on an Arsenal jersey. Now that again, is called doing the WRONG THING. Instead of buying Gervino, we should have bought Mata. You get the drift.

I will just say one more thing, whilst I can empathise with this bloke's sentiments. I think they are borne out of frustration rather than any sense of pragmatic solutions. In essence it's a rant, good for him for getting it off his chest, but that's about as much as it's worth for actually making any positive impact at Arsenal.

I get it - instead of buying Mata we should have bought Ronaldo and Messi. Yup, got it!

No, we should have gone for Mata. I like how apologists like you always have to resort to ******ation when you come up with these well let's get Messi and Ronaldo bla bla to make fans happy. Mata was available, and is player we could get, far better than Gervino.

Look, you keep living in your bubble, where Arsenal are the strongest team on earth looking to win trophies.

I think the author has a point, 50p may not be a life changing sum of money but it's still increase of almost 17% and if he is like most of us and not had a pay rise for 4 years then I can see why the increase angers him.

If you want a value feed before the game go to Piebury Corner, £4.50 for a quality pie, extra 2 quid for roast pots.

Piskie - never been to the chippy you mention but burger and chips for £2 ? Not sure I'll be rushing in TBH....
