Arsenal match now moved to 5.30 New Years Day for tv coverage. Give you more time to recover, but annoying to have yet another game shifted. What's transport going to be like on New Years Day in the evening?

You might have to swim back Fran. It's not amazingly surprising but I imagine those who have to travel would wish that Sky could make a decision a little earlier.

I will probably give it a miss...may not be a boat or there may be a reduced service. Red Jet are pretty good (for instance moved ferry times for recent cup game), but doubt they are planning to run a full service on New Year's Day.

This is an ESPN game, not a sky game.

Poor like most bloody evenings I would have thought........They may well put a few extra on for the match but don't hold your breath.......

Its absolute bullshit for us on the Island. We won't make the 19:45 Jet unless we leave early or miss the game full stop. (I don't pay for a ST to miss a game, especially when its not my fault). The ferries are 19:30 and then 21:00 great a 1hr 30min wait in Southampton!

I am going to moan! lol! Hope Southampton and Red Funnel take the game change into account and hold the ferry/jet back.

I'm in the same boat (not literally of course) but at least we have the option to drive or bus - which is then more expensive

A rotten time to play a football match. Don't fancy the drive back to London at night, with an early start at work the next morning. Thanks Mr Murdoch, for ****ing up football like everything else you touch.
