we actually did similar to Arsenal in the group stage. Lost two games away from home against the best team in Italy (and one of the best in Europe) and Shakhtar who have a formidable home record. Arsenal lost to Olympiakos (lol) and Schalke, currently midtable in their league. We also finished on level points AND we had a better goal difference. Now I'm not saying Arsenal didn't deserve to go through by any means, because they did. We were just unfortunate to go out the way we did. Besides, with the current clown in charge I'm quite happy being in the Europa rather than being tonked by the likes of Bayern. Starting to get the feeling that talking about Chelsea in a sarcastic tone on here is a little bit like using the N word, only the Chelsea fans can do it.
After playing Barca at the Bridge, I managed to use my limited amount of Spanish to have a conversation with some Barca fans... they say that we are the only team that they actually fear. Coming to the Bridge is a lot different to say the San Siro where there is a lot of space to play your footie... the fans are further from the pitch. The atmosphere at the Bridge on a European night when teams like Barca come is fantastic and Barca struggle to play against us. Messi admitted how much it hurts losing to us again. We are one of the only teams that have got under Barca's skin. Oh and yes it was a poor attempt to retain it but we are the current holders. We have won it. And you have won **** all in 8 years.
Fact is, we had as hard a group as you could get given we were seeded top. Juve and Shaktar's records were amazing when we played them. Even then we got the same amount of points and better goal diff than Arsenal. The only reason they got out their group was cos it was so easy, and even then they only came 2nd. I'd rather go out in the group and have a punt at Europa then go out in the last 16 and the season be over. Season over in feb again, surely Arsenal fans should only have to pay 70% of a season ticket.
Our next gen youth team beat Barca 2-0 away tonight and we had 10 men ( as always ) for half the match !! #OurBitches

Wengers fault for fielding a weak side against Olympiakos. The subs bench that game was dreadful, don't think i'd heard of any of them. If Arsenal would've won that they'd be playing Galatasaray tonight instead.
