I see that Maitland-Niles might be out. Not that I particularly rate him, but he's a hell of a lot more mobile than Lichsteiner. If Arsenal are forced into playing Lichsteiner (whether at RB or RWB), that could be a real area for Bertrand to exploit - if he's brave enough to push forward. Away to Arsenal, you could maybe understand if Ryan would rather prioritise hanging back.

It's a scenario where you'd ideally like to see us play with a left winger.

Not yet - haven’t had a chance to do anything since the circus came to town on Jan 31st. They are going home on March 1st :)

It has peed me off that both games clash.
Indications that channel 721 on IPTV is carrying the game, but don’t know who.
If that fails I will look into lesports and hope

    Angus gunn!!!
    Jack Stephens!!!
    Matt targett!!!

Bold team that. Redmond as the lone striker with Armstrong just behind is different. No sign of long or Gallagher.

League Cup final later. That's why they clash.

Lot of love for Ralph but that line-up seems a shocker!

    Hope he proves me wrong

I wonder if Bertrand being left out is because Ralph would rather keep him fresh for Fulham. That is certainly a bigger priority than today. Remember, Fulham have an extra 48 hours rest.

Happy to see Gunn getting another go. Less happy to see Stephens.

Correct team. Redmond is our best striker.

    So much hate for Stephens.

Let's not forget that if he hadn't been playing against Cardiff, we'd have lost 1-0 rather than 2-1

Start him up front then? (He could hardly do much worse up there than Long or Austin. Maybe Gallagher too.)

Arsenal line-up does look vulnerable mind you. Hope Redmonds pace will trouble their defence.

With the Fulham game being so much bigger, can understand no Bertrand and saving Obafemi/Long for it. Glad to see Gunn in goal.

Iwobi and Mkhi both start and no Aubameyang. We will only lose by a couple then :1980_boogie_down:
