I think it could be one of the best matches we've had. Neither manager has held a press conference so don't want any controversy surrounding the build up to the match, they both want their players to do the talking on the pitch which is the way it should be.
Lets call a spade a shovel. Loads of aggro on many sites re Arsenal and Stoke. I love Stoke and nothing will ever replace that no matter how we play, but come on Stoke fans, credit where credit is due, Wenger may be myopic but the Arsenal are great to watch

I have one friend who travels down from Huntingdon to watch ARSEnil every home match. Another used to live in South East London, Croydon to be exact but rarely goes to see ARSEnil due to money problems. My third ARSEnil supporting friend was born and bred in Aston, has supported ARSEnil all his life and goes to the odd home match and pre-season fixtures. Another I know supports Rangers as well and goes to watch both when he isn't playing for Kettering Town Reserves. Yes I dislike your club but that doesn't mean I can't have a well balanced siscussion with ARSEnil supporters that I know.
Robin, No problem with your'e comment at all. First off, I echo what Northenstokie has said. Let's call as spade a shovel and let the past go now! And, this hurts like hell to type but. " I do like to watch Arsenal play, I like the way you play, the way you pass it around and enjoyed the Barca game" That said, it will still hurt and hack me off bigtime, if we lose on Wednesday even though my head say's we have no chance.
Believe me mate, after what happened in the 70's FA Cup Semis against your lot, it is difficult to do anything but dislike Arsenal, that's how much those games still rankles even young supporters like me and Inverness feel an injustice to what happened.
I reckon if we have our strongest side out tonight we may nick it.....Whinger won't risk his players going all out against us. He's desperate for some silverware and the league cup final beckons!. Am I being too optimistic....UTP!!
Who knows, if relegation candidates like West Brom, Newcastle and Tottenham can beat us at our place maybe you can too. I can't see it though, we shouldn't be complacent enough to let it happen. I said that about the 4-4 game though
Robin - We won't get near your goal all night mate don't worry, I will be astonished if we even have 1 shot, especially as it seems that Etherington and Pennant might not even make the bench due to injury. We played a 4-5-1 at Liverpool so I think 4-6-0 will be the formation tonight. 2-0 or 3-0 to Arsenal I reckon.
I'm seriously worried about our lack of cover at left wing. If Ethers and Pennant are at all doubtful, I think TP will rest them up for West Brom. I can see us lining up: Begs Wilko...Huth...Shawx...Higgy Delap...Whelan...Whitehead...Walters Carew...Jones There's not much of a goal threat in that team, but then again, we were never going to beat Arsenal at their own game, and that team will outrun them (Jones excepted) if nothing else. Heart says 1-1 Stoke, with a scrappy Carew goal. Head says 2-0 Arsenal, unfortunately.
