Under previous managers it was the managers responsibility now all of a sudden injuries bad luck and he hasn't got the players.

Where were we last year, remind me? We then spent about £150m to drop four places, pathetically exiting all bar one tournament. So, yes, we’re going backwards. Who else spent that much money to be this poor?

If anyone tries to explain things or raise things on here that some don't like confronting in their minds they get a mouthful or maybe sarcasm.... faith is used above knowledge of the game.

Unfortunately this wasn't the narrative for the previous manager or managers who had more useless players.
Surely the manager is responsible? I'm really confused because previously it was.
So I think we can all agree that at the moment the form and formation and lack of reaction is a cause for concern. Nothing is going to happen manager wise until the end of the season at the earliest. Howe has time to turn this around but if we are outside of Europe at the end of the day then PIF have a decision to make.

- Whoever thought that Wilson and Isak would go through this season with 20% more games with no injuries is just insane. Not having a 3rd striker brought in, is criminal.
- Why buy Barnes when Gordon was brought in to make the left wing his own? We needed a RW with pace and a right foot.
- Hall could be the sub left winger as I dont see him as a left back but if that's the case then that is £100M of funds on the LW position.
- Tonali is an unfortunate one but he is also not a CDM, which we need.
- Goalkeeping - unfortunate but why do we have Gillespie, Dubs and Karius, we dont need 4 keepers with 3 that haven't played in years so take time to get up to speed.
- Stop giving contract extensions to the Ashley era players. We are paying a fortune for these and they should be nowhere near a top 8 team. Get rid and if no-one wants to buy them , then that confirms they are **** so why hold onto them?
- Have a strategy for the transfer windows and start early. Get players in 1st couple of weeks or even before (even it means paying £5m more). See Brighton.
- Also can the Stavely or PIF please provide an update on all things NUFC. Training ground, St James park extension etc etc. It's been a while since things were talked about.
- Finally, be careful of giving Howe the keys to the Kingdom. Im sure the MSM are making mischief with the Bournemouth links but when things like Ashworth and then bring in cousin etc it does look like Howe is trying to recreate Bournemouth setup.
Amazingly, I do watch the football and agree it’s not good but then put context and perspective into the equation and try not to make knee jerk over the top reaction.

To then not expect one step backwards, regardless of the above, is naive in the extreme. IMO you’re busy trying to throw the baby out with the bath water.
Again, people are in an uproar, but the season is practically all but over. We are chasing a 7th at best at this point, we are not about to go on and win the FA Cup.
I see no reason to make a change at this stage of the season, just wait until the end and then they can review it.
