According to the Telegraph, he is back in full training. I think we will see him towards the end of January
Deal. So the rules are: Isak has to play at least 30 mins in a competitive fixture to start the timer. You then have exactly one calendar month for him to get injured, but that injury has to rule him out of playing, rather than just a selection choice by Howe.
This could be the decider. What if Isak doesn't even start a game. Roly wins. BUT we'll never know when he's won until Isak is sold or retired.

I have a strange feeling we'll win though. We do better when teams try to play us. I just **** myself at the thought of Burn vs Saka.
Hang on "starts" is unlikely. Howe is notoriously reticent to play anyone after injury AND likes to keep a winning side together so he'll get at least a couple of games off the bench before he starts even when he's fit. I'm not in this bet but will add that I also think he'll be fit enough to get game time within the next month but I can't see him starting until either February or if there's injuries to other players forcing him in.
We're winning tonight lads. First goal is massive of course, if they get one in the first 20 minutes I can see it being a very very uncomfortable night for us but the longer the game goes as a draw (or with us winning) the more I can see us growing into it. I'm going 2-0 to Newcastle. I'd settle for a draw now of course, I really like having the best defence in the league so hope that's still the case after the match.
I can see a situation in which we go a goal down in the first half but then one of their midfielders gets sent off. We respond with a header from a corner and get a penalty 5 minutes before the end before Miggy slots in a 3rd in the dying minutes. After the match their players surround the referee with some venom but nothing gets done about it.
