Arsenal are spending tens of millions on players, competing in cup finals and playing in Europe but their fans have given up on them because they've had a couple of bad games and won't win the PL.

They have to be the worst supporters in English football, after the cup final embarrassment I thought they couldn't get much worse but they've managed it.

They've still got it better than 95% of other clubs but it's not good enough for them.

Once a decent club, they epitomise all that is wrong with the modern game.

ARSENE MUST STAY!

Just listened to the 1st half of the Brighton/Arse game, took me right back to 2014 <cry>

Hope Brighton can do better than we did.

Horrible club, horrible fans

The team remind me a lot of North London itself - a bunch of immature and arrogant clowns who think they're above the rest just because they can sometimes do some tekkers and **** innit, even though they're overshadowed by a long history of glory that they have no hope of matching themselves.

Die, Arsenal, die.

I assume this is a DM stunt. Whoever has done it, it’s pretty tasteless. I’m sure the person behind it would be delighted if the saw others publicly celebrating the chance that they might lose their job.

I don’t understand this football mentality of being cheery about this. Yes of course Arsene isn’t skint but further down the ladder people certainly are and might struggle to support their families, but still fans cheerily sing “you’re getting sacked in the morning”.

I don't want to upset you further, but I don't think we're actually by far the greatest team, the world has ever seen, and Mcgregor doesn't shag ten birds a night, just in case you're over thinking that too. <ok>

I don’t see how either song stops somebody from being in the financial position to support themselves or their family. But I’m sure you’d see the funny side if after a string of poor performances in the workplace a group of strangers started poking fun at your impending sacking :emoticon-0148-yes:

I'm sure a few million in the bank, taken from people with little choice or appropriate payback would ease my suffering, particularly if I'm getting sacked for not meeting the basic requirements of the job. :emoticon-0105-wink:

You think Russell Slade was given a few million do you? And I’m sure 99.9% of managers meet the basic requirements of preparing their team for matches.

Ah, I see I wasn't reading between the lines.

I'm sorry to hear about your employment situation, and any ridicule you suffered as a consequence. Good luck in your future career. <ok>
