But, but, but...... TF, as he himself keeps saying, is, after all, a BUSINESS MAN. Full stop. So sooner than later, regardless of whether he says he's backing MH at the moment, that's just like a nice old papa being supportive of his son with positive prayers every day - nothing more. But, as far as good business sense is concerned, he ain't dumb, we hope, and I think we all know he ain't THAT dumb. That, in the end, he'll have done the maths, and realize that, IF, and lets hope that it's just a hypothetical calculation that IF we are to go down, the costs down there to bring us back up will be far worse than taking the risk now, spending it now, cutting losses with a bad manager, bringing a new one in, and staying up, at the end of the season saying "thank **** we made the right decision to sack MH and bring in a new one, even though it did cost us a little bit, we're still in the PL." Therefore, if we do not see absolutely stupendous results in our favour, TF will finally fess up and tell us that yes, he was just being positive all along, like a good dad looking after one of his own, in hopes that things were going to work out, instead of getting hard on the boy and being harsh and negative - leaving that to us supporters with realism in our eyes. Whether it's Arry or not, it doesn't matter, I am sure there are managers on the list that are being looked at, just in case.
I would have welcomed 'Arry early in the summer before the money was spent. Now that we are committed to a lot of long term player contracts he won't be interested (unless there is some way to shove all that aside - doubt it). They are Hughes' players and he is best placed to make the best of them like it or not. I just hope somehow we can make it January with some kind of semi-decent points total so that he can try to correct his massive cock up of not recruiting strikers or CBs in the summer.
Saints supporter would spit the dummy if Arry went there, really can't see that happening. As to us, to be honest I'm not sure I want him.
I don't do ITK anymore mate but I will pass on anything I hear in good faith, you chaps can't say fairer than that. On a separate note how's your good lady and little one getting on?
Great cheers Cerny. Just knackered as expected!!! I actually could see what you said happening and would be happy for it to do so.
