Bang on the money ... My other half who has holiday cottage in Swanage saw both of them near Corfe Castle in Autumn ...

And now another rumour. Are we getting defoe and Pav? <laugh>

QPR have been offered the opportunity to sign Roman Pavlyuchenko in January, the Spurs striker’s agent has claimed.

The Russia international has been consistently linked with a move away from White Hart Lane when the transfer window reopens, with Lokomotiv Moscow widely tipped to be a possible destination.

However, Oleg Artemov has now said the player has been offered to Tottenham’s London Premier League rivals, although the 29-year-old hasn’t considered it yet.

“That is true that Tottenham have turned to QPR,” Artemov told sovsport.ru.

“I know about it. The club has a right to do so as they have a contract with Roman.

“Before talking about it – if Roman wants to be a QPR player or not – we have to consider every detail. Roman hasn’t thought about it yet

I won't even mention all your 'done deal' rubbish on the Russian Billionaire and all the other crap you spout. Sorry but you know nothing and you have a track record of talking s###e. I don't need to bet anything because if i did i would be playing into your sad 'attention seeking' world.
I will just wait until January and see you vanish when you have to explain why Defoe is staying at Spurs.

Both quotes were correct at the time of writing my friend.

You sound pretty confident on Defoe not signing so why not stake a wager on it? I promise to buy you one of those miniature cars if santa brings you your scalextrix this time round. :emoticon-0109-kiss:

Good get out clause? Is that what you will use when Defoe stays at Spurs or will it be another excuse?

Sadly CB your track record lets you down. It's like a boxer who has lost 20 fights out of 21 saying he will beat the World Champion? Occasionally you will get an upset, a one off but most of the time you predict the result on the fighters previous and sadly your previous speaks for itself. <laugh>

Maybe you can get the Billionaire who is taking over to lend you some money. <laugh>

I'm really torn now 'cos i REALLY would like to see Defoe play in the blue and white hopes but also i would REALLY like this settled once and for all on whether CB does talk out of his back passage or if there is even a small chance that he is ITK.

So far from his predictions the back passage has it.

Staines i would love CB to be right and would be the first to say 'well done' on him. I would love have a player like Defoe at QPR but then reality sets in and i realise that it won't be happening.
Ask youself some simple questions. Why would Defoe leave a top 4 club to join QPR who will be in a relegation scrap? (how would that help his Enland chances)? Would we spend £10M on a player? Would he want to come to QPR before other bigger clubs? And lastly and the one that 'nails' it for me is CB said its a 'Done deal'.

Sorry but for me it's all fantasy Island x 2

I wish i could disagree with you mate but sadly i think you are spot on.
My only hope is that if you would of told me last year that i would be watching players of the calibre of Barton, SWP, Ferdinand & Young playing for Rangers AND we would be looking to spend 15 million more on strengthening the squad.....i would of suggested you would be talking B#####.
I'm still gonna believe until Feb 1st :)
