Although i may sound like i am having a 'pop' at CB i actually like his posts and really hope what he says comes off. But as for Defoe i think he won't be coming to us because it's Defoe. However i am sure CB will get some info sometime and prove me wrong.
Thats a great point Northy. Defoe has great pace, is an England International and can sore 10-15 goals a year. There are not that many better forwards in the Prem. Me thinks several clubs will be after him. Clubs much bigger than us. CB has said it's a done deal. I hope he is right, cause he would be a fantastic signing and would play off HH nicely.
I hope cerny is wrong - fed up with the greif from spurs fans about getting all their cast offs! I hope and think Neil has his eye on someone better
I honestly couldn't think of anyone (within reason) that I would want more to play for QPR. He's exactly what we need. With him in the team those draws against WBA, Villa, Blackburn and Newcastle would have been wins. I know a lot of Spurs fans and if Defoe is the kind of 'cast off' they'll give us grief for, I'm happy to take it. We need a natural goalscorer. HH has done well but he's not a 20 goal a season man.
I'm not ITK I don't know of any other strikers we may be looking at just not sure Defoe is right for us - not at 8 million! I think Neil is a clever man and will come up trumps come the transfer window
I would take everything 'Arry says with a sackful of salt. Met him briefly in the summer in the company of a colleague who lives near him and knows him socially in Poole. Colleague supports scum and asked about Modric. 'Arry said he would go for £30m. I think the Spuds chairman calls the shots on transfers. In the course of a 30 second conversation Redknapp did come across as a good bloke though, in the Venables little bit dodgy mode.... This in no way qualifies me for the dreaded ITK status.
