Evidently, (according to that respected top radio station talk****E), Kyle Walker has tweeted that after last night's disapointing draw with Chelsea, they now move on to Norwich and 3 points ! The bloody arrogance of the man. I just hope Lambo' the City players have seen this as I'm sure it'll fire them up.

In the words of Kevin Keegan: "I'd love it, I'd really love it if we beat them ! "

err, i'm not too sure what the problem is!

why is what he said so wrong? all he is saying is that they look to bounce back with a win - there is absolutely nothing at all to take offence from in that tweet...

he isn't being arrogant, merely talking to his own clubs fans.
 
To be fair mate, Kyle Walker isn't the type to be arrogant, he's actually very humble and modest, I doubt he'd mean it in a disrepectful way, just more of a case of hoping to bounce back with a win, which is what any team/ player would want.

To me, it came across as "it's only little ol' norwich, guaranteed 3 points", perhaps I've got a rather large chip on my shoulder then ?

I happen to know Kyle is an arrogant prick, saying that Spurs will get 3 points against us is probably quite accurate but it sets him up for an egg on face moment if they don`t.....

sorry, just doesn't come across like that at all to me! if one of our players came out and said 'disappointed to lose the lead against wolves but we move on to spurs and 3 points!' would you think it arrogant? i don't think so...

I do and Spurs would too, Lambert would never comment in the media saying "A draw against Wolves was unlucky but we will get 3 points at Spurs" arrogance ...

that is nonsense! its not arrogance at all. he is merely saying what the fans want to hear. he isn't saying they will DEFINITELY get 3 points - its a statement of intent to go and get them. i am baffled why anyone would think its arrogance <doh>

Look supers I haven't actually seen this tweet, I don't do twitter. It was just the way it came across on talkSHITE via Lardy Brazil's show. Has anyone else ever regretted starting a thread on here ? <doh>
 
if we play well i think we can win the game. lets not kid ourselves, a point would be an outstanding result but we are capable of beating the vast majority of teams in this league on our day. i think it will probably be a narrow loss but no shame in that. spurs have some fantastic players and are great to watch so i'm really looking forward to the game. no pressure on us really - anything we get from the game will be viewed as a bonus. i'm sure there will be plenty of goals! <ok>
