Don't worry mate I will, there's nothing worse than a plastic wum and he's been well and truly sussed out (shades of KPR indeed) but getting back to better days yes I remember those times well and that wasn't the only time we had out sung them at klanfield. although to be fair most of my away fun was in the late sixties early seventies, went home & away every game for 5 seasons. These were some of the best days of my footballing life especially the away days, fantastic camaraderie with my fellow fans many became friends which I still see (that's if we can remember where we were meant to be meeting ) 1st time up there we went to this boozer and at 11am the staff came out and rolled up the carpet and took it away leaving the bare floorboards when asking why we were told blood was easier to get off wood . We still stayed there drinking before and after the game........happy days!

What were our away numbers like in the late 60s/early 70s? Did they compare to our amazing turnouts at Brighton Pompey Highbury 84. I went to a league cup night game in the late 70s at Highbury when it seemed like half the ground was Chelsea but I was very young . Biggest turnout for me. Opening day of the season 1130 KO at highbury84. Filled the clock end by 11am, which then held 16k, our allocation of seats and had fAns in the Archibald leitch runs and hundreds in north bank.
