At CM, the indications are that Lees-Melou will be replaced. Hopefully DH is right about what the aim is (post #666 above). As regards CB, for the next stab at staying in the top league we will need a left-footed, first choice option to partner Omobamidele. It would stretch credulity to believe we have the funds to bring such a player in at this juncture on anything but a loan-with-buy option basis -- unless, that is, Max is going to leave for an implausibly large sum.
Huddersfield have confirmed he's rejoining them on loan, so that's the end of that rumour. Not sure if it's been mentioned, but Aaron Mooy has joined Celtic, so another midfielder rumour quashed.

From what I have seen the club are still following him on instagram. I have no idea what that is. They are also still following Kabak and Williams, so means nothing I would guess.

Yet another Aaron’s transfer rumour Everton this time. This has got to be the longest running transfer rumour ever for this club?
I like the way Aaron's conducts himself and I think he has strong skills in a lot of areas. But I do have 2 significant concerns which are his heading and crossing ability. I think if the right offer comes in it would be in his and the clubs best interests if he moves on.
