I don't necessarily go along with the next one being a 6 pointer although I get it's importance. If we lost it there are still loads of other games to go. If we drew it wouldn't be the end of the world. I don't think at this stage of the season any one game is more important than the one after and the one after that. At the moment I believe we can beat anyone home or away. Argyle though are nearly always unpredictable throughout history so that's the reason I'm not counting chickens just yet. Looking forward to the next home game and the crowd should go up on the back of this. I watched the Football League Show earlier this morning and they did Argyle the usual disservice by almost ignoring them. I hate that programme but it is the only way to see the main incidents over and over. First one is it was a penalty. Alessandra has got a couple of soft ones this season but this time I think it was nailed on. It might have been a bit harsh to give the defender a red for it though but at least a yellow in my book to cover the doubt. As for the red we got well I've watched it a good few times now and I'm still not sure how much contact there was. I think the Exeter player made an absolute meal of it. Lee did seem to go in fast and quite hard swinging his foot but there wasn't much in the way of intent and just a booking would have been enough. So I don't agree with you there Milton. They didn't show the mellee bit so no judge of the bookings from that. To be honest they didn't show much as usual. Hi Milton, hope you are well. Pilgrim Pete is way too hard to get caught by a pussy cat. He eats big ones for breakfast.
Which one BC because it's yes to one and no to the other. Ron has stopped and sold out to Ivor or at least his family have. It would be hard to imagine Plymouth without a Dewney Pasty of some description althoughI prefer Pilgrim Pasties these days myself. It always provokes an argument as to which one is best.
Ivor Dewney is the one I remember i think i had one everyday when i worked in Plymouth..well pretty near.. back in the 60's if you walked down Cornwell St and a shop was closed for a refit the Shopfitters were there....so was I.. hence the pasty for lunch..sitting on the scaffold whistling at the girls..
Once upon a time my Mrs worked in that Dewney shop BC. In the 70's though not the 60's. Twas in the days when we had a young family and she had to do something to fit around that. I never once got a free pasty which is shocking. She also worked in a fish n chip shop and I did ok from there for supper. Would rather have had the pasties though.
