Yes notdistant.....in fact I believe he said it awhile back as well........he must of found Fletchers match notes.....left behind in the back of his office desk draw.

In fact I don't care what he says as long as it's after winning three points.

Five teams on 40pts,only Torquay (at present) with better goal difference and Aldershot with a game less to play then the rest.

If free falling Torquay can get a point at Southend.....why can't we ?.........there home form might keep them out of the play-offs.

I noticed that Cheridan comment as well and it did make me wince slightly. I agree with you plymborn. Southend isn't a forgone loss for me and they have slipped lately so anything is possible. Chesterfield haven't got a lot to aim for either at the moment so that is another one that could go either way.

It is definately hard to know what points you need this season. My guess would be a minimum of 48 but would stick to 50 for safety. However, if everyone suddenly decided to take off then more than 50 for a rare end to a season is possible. Long shot that one though.

Don't get me wrong mexijan. I might have criticisms for Banton but he would be first on my team sheet every week despite this. Absolutely we need somebody to be scoring goals and he seems to be producing the goods. This is with a lot to learn so if he ever does then he would be some player.
