Fittingly we have ended the season with an outright winner and loser.

Bragging rights for the summer go to ‘master-simpson’ who won with his impressive 7/0 – well done.

Meanwhil ‘talcnturnip’ has the naughty step all to himself for the next 3 months though he just avoided a dreaded double zero thanks to Spurs.

Anyway, that’s another season over and we should extend the hand of friendship to our illustrious neighbours for their amazing second half gesture which enabled us to finish in the top half.

See you all in August.

This was the deal with only 3 games to go - ...forecast the winners and losers of the EPL season and the FA Cup.


1. one point for each CORRECT league position (max 8 points)
2. one bonus point if you get BOTH the top and bottom club correct
3. one point for predicting the FA Cup winner

The maximum score possible was 10 points but no-one got even close.

The podium is a bit crowded with ‘oldblackcat’, ‘Super Gyan’ and ‘talcnturnip’ sharing top spot.

Hope this is consolation for ‘talc’ as he ponders the summer on the naughty step of the regular predictions table.

Talc - sorry but this one didn't count in the big lad's league.

Hope this consolation prize helps you through the next three months as you re-think your strategy for next season.

Take the positives out of it pal - get yourself a t-shirt emblazoned ' I spent the summer on the naughty step'.
