Is Messi the most overrated player in football? Don't get me wrong, he is a world class player and would be with the first name on most team sheets but is he that good? He plays in a league that after the top six or so is championship standard, if he played in the EPL he would be one of the top players but I don't think he would be rated as much as he is now! He doesn't seem to excel at international level and even at champions league he doesn't seem to live up to the hype!
