What an awful game. And to not change the shape and only personnel is awful. Can't believe they brought on a Spurs benchwarmer rather than Januzaj

I have come to the conclusion that south american football Is dull and full of cheats and corruption, I can understand now why there is so much match fixing going on and sep bladder is at the head of the game...

Belgium is in Europe - they lost fair and square and were incredibly dull and gutless. Just like the French they were dull too and went out with a whimper. I'm not blowing the horn for South American football but they have scored some the best goals imo, apart from Cahill's.

Rodriguez's sublime volley, Messi's curler v Iran, Luiz's free kick yesterday - all candidates for goal of the tournament though I'd accept some European sides have scored some crackers too - RVP's being the best imo.

I think the South Americans have by and large had a lot more pace and energy stretching well ito the second half of games and they always seem to want to play at a higher tempo.

Having said that this could now been Germany's for the taking because this Brasil side is very suspect at the back.

Well all i have seen is lots of diving ,time wasting at critical times and the ref letting it carry on, I have seen linesmen getting in the way when a corner needs to be taken quickly. I have seen bias calls in favour of south american teams ....I cant see any further than Brazil winning the trophy even though there are better sides than them .....

Not sure about any of that. I've read a lot here about how referees are favouring Brasil and I agree that did seem to happen in the first game but not much thereafter. Thye've had plenty of yellow cards and are missing one of their key players because of it for the Semi.

It takes a strong ref not to be pressured by a stadium holding almost 80,000 fans, most of which are Brasilians. Easy to say they shouldn't feel the pressure but they're only human. Good case for Howard Webb doing the Semi or even the Final again as he looks like one of the more sensible refs there.

Bottom line is that although I'd like to see a Euro team win this time I've enjoyed watching the South American teams - less organised at the back and take too many risks but exciting going forward. For that reason I see the diciplined Germans getting to the Final.

I would love to see the Germans batter Brazil in the final but i know that wont happen unless the officials have not been bought and ref the game fairly. The football overall has been exciting for the neutral watcher but i believe in fair play and some of the calls have been shocking and so obviously bias that it has spoiled the game for me....The football is good but when an incident occurs the South american teams nearly always get the call.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a Germany v Holland final. So far I haven't seen anything fantastic with the four semi finalist, other than in the group stages where I thought Germany and Holland were great.

Think Germany efficiency will help them overcome Brazil, even with the crowd on there side, the exceptions will weigh very heavily on there shoulders. Argentina rely so heavily on Messi, just think Holland might be too strong for them, then again it could be a Brazil v Argentina and that would be a great final. Just would love to have seen Messi v Neymar.

Germany v Argentina in the final and a MOD showdown ;)

Although I think we'd all love to see the Dutch finally win the trophy.

yes i can see how you would determine that but i mean that if there is a team to beat brazil with their football then Germany are the ones.
