Shola is a type of high-altitude stunted evergreen footballer found in southern Newcastle. Patches of Shola form are usually separated from one another by undulating grassland. Together the Shola and grassland form the Shola-grassland complex or shola-grassland mosaic. ...

Its pretty obvious that Pardew is assembling his own squad, which is fair enough. He did what he could with Hughton's but he obviously has his own take on it. I like that, it shows confidence and ambition.

Also assuming that he wants a forward squad of about five players, so; Ba, Erdinc, A N Other, Shola, Lover ... with Airey as young blood to bring through.

He is looking to sell Best and Ranger. Maybe Best hasn't impressed in training? Ranger's fall from grace has already been well documented.

With two months to go in the transfer window I think we should show some faith in our manager and Carr and not get too excited just because Best managed to have a purple patch despite doing bugger all else in a season and a half. £4m would be a very good return if we can get it and i'm sure he can be replaced.

Exactly, and I reckon I could have scored a goal against West Ham that day, so it's basically 3 in 23.

Best is our best striker(3rd best when Ba and Erdinc/NEW ST sign). <ok>

What kind of fool would sell his BEST striker? Oh yeah I remember in Jan 31st.. we sold someone who was going to be the future ''Alan Shearer'' and looked how it turned out?

THIS BETTER NOT BE TRUE! <grr><grr><grr>

As a side note, Arsenal are now 1/2 on to sign Barton.

Yeah, with SkyBet. Seems plausible to me, they desperately need some steel in their side. Wouldn't begrudge him a move there either.
