The voice is quieter The message is about "being fine" and hints of surviving The shoulders are a little slumped The chin is close to his chest as his head hangs a little lower The chest is no longer puffed out The peacock feathers are no longer on full display The crow is a little quieter in the garden now.
Well thats one way of looking at it Trixter ! What a terrible game of football that was at Villa Park today wasnt it, goodness me premier league ! ?
I actually think he will go at the end of the season. I've always said it was a short term appointment to get us up and keep us up. You have to say that Gold and Sullivan got the appointment spot on for their short term goals. Allardyce has his reputation restored - after 2 sackings he has had 2 successful seasons with West Ham to put on his CV. West Ham are stabilised with Allardyce's organised foundations laid for a new, younger manager to work with. Everyone's a winner. If he does stay it will probably be for one more season until PDC feels ready. The football hasn't been pretty. But after the mess Avram Grant left behind, he has done an excellent job and we are set up nicely for someone else to take over and lead us into our new stadium.
Morning mate, u good? I thought we were a bit unlucky to be fair. Their keeper made some good saves and we had a shot cleared off the line. We were beaten by a penalty and and a free kick but they were never gonna score from open play. Yeah it wasn't great viewing I must agree!
Yes was commenting on the entertainment value. You probably could have nicked a draw but exciting it wasn't.
mmmm, 2 successful seasons? There is still a third of the 2nd season to go; it may yet not turn out too successful, unless sliding down the league and just staying up is considered a success.
Di Canio in seems completely logical to me. G&S won't want to miss their chance and see him go to another club. You only need a couple more wins to stay up so no trouble there. But if Sam doesn't get much more than that, they won't have much choice but to make the change.
My golly, Just take a look at West Ham's remaining fixtures. Id be scared. I can see their final game against Reading being very important.
