Hear me out on this one, i'm not wumming, you lack creativity in the final third, i mean look at the first half of your games recently, Everton at home, you struggled to create a chance, tonight was the same as well.

I'm only asking a question.
 
Maybe? Either way we are still in a better position without him than two seasons with him.

What we are missing and have been for 4 years ,is a midfielder who can control play and set things up. We have defensive midfielders coming out our ears, buzzy running midfielders all over the place, but not one who can control the play. Injuries haven't helped, van Ginkel is the right type, but we really need to get this position covered.

I wasn't wumming though, i genuinely believe you are missing Mata.

Modric was ideal for you aswell as Utd but thankfully we wouldn't sell to an English club and he is now Madrids best midfielder after a shaky first season which was due to Mourinhos management style.

This would still be the case at Chelsea as Modric does not defend enough for Jose.

True. Just when Chelsea wanted Modric, Mourinho wasn't manager so Modric had a lucky escape as Ancelotti found his way to Madrid.
 
What we need is a time machine wound back to when Alan Hudson was 23 !!!!
Since that's unlikely, maybe Lucas Piazon , young Chalobah and van Ginkel are worth a look before we go chasing Tony Kroos ??
