Ginge’s ramblings are making less and less sense by the day. It’s either very cryptic or he’s been ran over.

I've been health conscious for a while in terms of regular exercise, running, swimming, weights etc. But the worst thing, the thing that pisses me off the most is when you stop for any period of time and all that good work is gone.

I went to play footy on Sunday and was absolutely fcked, having not done anything to keep myself fit for almost 2 years. I haven't piled the pounds on or anything bar an increase of one waste size, but I've realised how unfit I am because of how long I lasted. MUST start again, that's the hardest part.

    Now.... where's that green tea

Yeah various injuries meant I had to lay off the heavy stuff and eventually lay off the gym altogether. Dropped a little bit of size, but a massive amount of strength which was a big blow.

It’s taught me to train smarter though, so every cloud.

    Had two weeks off myself.

Got myself a bad throat/cough/chest/hangover and the next thing you know, I've done nothing for a fortnight.

Will begin again next week, I'm away for Easter and can't wait. Won't be health conscious.

I've never been heavily into weights tbh. Just enough to help me burn enough on my runs. I've been lucky with injuries thank fck though so I can start again as before, but just need to.

Yeah I never had that many, then I ripped my rotator cuff and that opened the door to a load of other issues.

I started using a different grip on dead’s last week, it’s the one below in the picture, it hurts your thumb to begin with but the grip strength vs natural pronate is huge.

That's how it happens, one thing and then it affects everything. I get all sorts of advice because I run on the road so things like ankles or knees going. But I've always run on road so I guess I'm risking it. Did field and park runs once or twice, hated it, ended up on the concrete path!

Have taken up walking and try to walk 15000 steps per day...(7.5 miles approx)
Go for a 20 min walk before work, a 40 minute walk most lunch times and between 60-90mins after work. Plus I sm on my feet most of my working day.

Generally average between 14,000 and 15,000 a day for the past 18 months.
My record is 42,000 steps....19.8 miles back in February.

    Did 26,000 today.
Ocassionally jog but always mix it with walking and never over do it.

    When I started
My fear was hitting my 60s and not being very mobile.

Have built up from 6500 steps a day 3 years ago so am bizarrely proud of myself.

    That's good mate.

I'm on my feet all day long, walk miles each each, all with dragging and picking heavy weights. Ton after ton.

It;s a funny old world though, it might be a **** job, it allows me to have my vices each day.

**** job, but seems to everything what people for for by joining a gym,

Just take shorter strides and you'll get your step count up in no time. <ok>
