Yid Vicious,sorry I missed your question and to answer it.......ability. He missed too many sitters and went what 7 or 8 matches without a goal......not good enough.
18 goals + 12 assists (+ 4 perfectly good goals disallowed) in 37 performances tells a different story...... Aguero had a record of 48/30/12 which is comparable pro rata; Drogba = 35/13/4 Rooney was significantly better, but there are a few notable No 9's who didn't get close to Ade. And if you add in the positive influence that he was exuding during the downturn, then I think you may be underestimating him. But just my opinion.....
