...and that actual fans have a far better grasp of reality than the highly paid "experts"

(apart from Liverpool fans of course)

I'd rather see us go underneath the radar rather then tipped for great things, don't get me wrong it's a big compliment for the club but I'm not a fan of us having to live up to mass hype.

Most fans on here moaned about Swansea having all the limelight so I'd assume they will love a bit of attention and our players regularly being linked or poached by bigger clubs.

Opinions, opinions, opinions! What are they worth in this context? Pretty much zilch. I'd say the only solid predictions you could make would be, firstly, a list of eight teams that will definitely NOT be relegated; and secondly, four teams who will definitely feature in the European places. That apart it is just guesswork IMO. No wonder the bookies love it and make a fortune. <ok>

I think that was more to do with when they came up they got a lot of coverage, it was more to deal with the great big Beeb montages e.g. There are certain parts of the country which the BBC love to big up since we're just marshes, farms, seaside resorts, Mustard, Nelson and Delia.

And all the coverage led to their, arguably, best player being poached by Liverpool and many others linked away including a second manager and their star striker. Additional coverage, unless you are a top team, is a negative IMO as all it does is alert big clubs to your top players, manager and in our case, CEO.

Rather be underestimated and not discussed than seen as a dark horse.
