Fans like the club supporters support the club by paying money and going to games. We probably have 40,00 fans but 15000 supporters
All depends on age and circumstances.... First taken to HQ in Jan 1966 and hardly missed a home game until the late 70's.... Didn't have to bunk off school from scum fa cup game in 74 as school decided it wasn't a smart move to let 2000 kid's leave school at the same time as 30k leaving the cup game so they let us go 5 minutes before kick off, legged it and made it into the ground with a couple of minutes to spare.... What category does going to Cologne for UEFA cup game put me in? From late 70's to mid 80's l played club rugby every Saturday so getting to games was nigh on impossible.... Got married in mid 80's and moved away from London.... lack of funds and distance didn't make getting to games that easy... Moved to Ireland in 99 so visits for games are few and far between, although an end of season 0-0 at home to Plymouth in 3rd division was a particular low light... Now on here and our WhatsApp group keep the contact.... I suppose I'd be classified as a fan but not a paying supporter although I was a supporter as a younger person.... After the odd glass of something I'm definitely a happy clapper.... Up the R's
Staines, then are doing a ba football section for OB and Chris Hall at Bedfont fc Saturday 27th of May. Robbo, will be there, and myself to. Would you like to attend? Also downsey, manager asked if you could play and what position?
I’ll have to see what my roster is mate as looks like it’s gonna change prett6 soon…dunno if I’d be up up for playin* but might pop along to see some old faces. When you see Robbo tell him Spermie from baggage Tracing sends his regards. Dunno if he’ll remember me but he might
It wasn’t that bad......when I joined BA as a young 18 year old youth, there was a bloke there who was meant to look very much like me....so the office wit started calling me “Sperm Child”, which stuck for years after the original fella left. That soon got shortened to “Spermie”, which most people knew me as.....it really wasn’t the worst at my old place
Would a true fan not go to Boro away because he is intelligent, and realises the club is a total mess and has presently the worst manager he has ever witnessed, and therefore shouldnt show any support for such a regime. Or goes to Boro away because he supports his club through good times and bad. Asking for friend
You’re friend, in my opinion, is a true fan whatever his choice........he deserves a medal for even considering it
