Ha I went back to Hull last week. Some stuff has changed, some stuff hasn't. Hull seems to be a city on the up whereas Leicester is most definitly a city in decline.
OK Bollocks - why not scram back on to it and attempt (!) to put some life into it? Cos you're boring us to ****ing death on here!
If you go back to Hull's lower league days and playing at the godawful Boothferry Park then the difference between Hull and Leicester was pretty big. However...almost a decade of mediocrity and a visit to League One has diminished Leicester in most people's eyes. A new stadium and a recent visit to the top flight for Hull have narrowed the gap quite a bit. It is probably unfair to judge Leicester on probably our most unsuccessful decade in our history though. It looks like Thai money will hopefully repair some of the damage done after we went into administration back in 2003. I am a fan of Leicester and I am hoping and expecting a return to top flight ever present status like in the 60s and 70s. But...football is not played in the balance books any more than it is played on paper so we will have to wait and see. Good luck Hull. Your status and prestige has risen hugely since I started watching football around 20 years ago. And look after our Nige!!
