Are we vulnerable?

I think I remember hearing once that Nostradamus predictions (undecipherable as far as I am concerned) indicated that the 3rd World war would be started from a small leader from the East. Now I'm hearing that China is the strongest country in the world.

I can't help wondering sometimes if Chinese originated from a different planet to us.

 

The big nations in Europe are all allies, and the USA is an allie of the European nations, if we or anyone else was attacked by China, then I'd fancy quite a few big countries would declare war on them.

Back in 1945, the Americans dropped 2 Atomic bombs on Japan, each bomb destroyed everything around, for roughly a 3 mile square radius. Could you imagine what sort of damage a modern day Atomic bomb could do 66 years later. I fancy one could take out the majority of the UK, in one hit.

WW3 won't be happening anytime soon, if you ask me, though when it does happen(which is inevitable) were all ****ed

 

I thought we still ruled the world? Pretty sure we could see off any c***s who fancy having a go.

I'm assuming that was irony. if bombs fell on london tomorrow Obama would dance around his office singing Oh Happy Day and then make a statement to the effect that Britain has a great army and deserves the right to defend itself. They won't lift a finger.

 

We have nuclear weapons, we could flatten Washington, Moscow, Beijing, Berlin or anywhere else. This just might put other countries off from attempting an invasion. Except Iran maybe...

 

I do not think we as a country have the ability to fight a proper war on our own.. Though this would depend on the opposition.. We didnt in the 80's yet we still made the argies look like the mugs that they are and i think we would do so again.

 

Nuclear arms have made full scale war between super powers obsolete. Tin pot madmen still pose a threat to their neighbours and our obsession with the war against tourists means we will still run around the planet shooting peasants.

Money causes more harm than bombs and China will rule the world through cash, not guns.

With the world population at 7billion already and set to hit 8billion within the next 10-15 years the only wars in the future will be over basics like water, fuel and land for crops.
