been looking on the betting sites for saturday,Derby who have been playing really well of late are almost 3/1for the win, its 2/1 for the draw( which I agree with because saints are generally involved in games with alot of goals, and Saints are evans for the win. Bookies are no mugs and rate our win chance as 50-50 , away and at one of the stronger clubs- so it begs the question, ARE WE THAT GOOD.:emoticon-0116-evilg
 
Bookies tend to set the odds according to current form and in our respective last games we won 4-0 and Derby lost 4-0. Personally I think that evens for a Saints win is a bit stingy considering our away form is not as consistant as our home form. I would have thought Derby and Saints to win should be 6/4 each with 2/1 for the draw.
 
I would say that our chance of winning is about 50:50 or slightly better, so the bookies have it right. I think we can beat any team in this league on our day, but that doesn't mean I think we will win every game. We still make too many defensive errors. We are a good side but not the finished article yet.
 
I might have to think about putting a few pound on Derby with those odds.
