If we lose six out of six games from here, we quite possibly still go down. At the very least, we'd be walking a fine line.

But can anyone - Saints fan or not - look at our six remaining fixtures and seriously think that we will lose them all?

I'm backing us to secure survival in six days time. We're in form, West Ham are poor away. So long as Carroll isn't 'on one', I'm very confident of three points.

Even if the worst happened and we lost all 6 I'm not convinced all those beneath us would pick up points. I know it's not mathematical but I'm 99% certain.

Mathematically Wigan and their games in hand will keep things alive at least until the result of our game against Swansea. So we can't speak of categorical safety until that point.
