Are we making progress??

Take Luiz. Pony defender but stick 2 proper defenders next to him to cover him when he goes walkies out of position and he can get away with it.

Can't argue with that. I actually think he's pretty solid even in a back 4 but the man does like a wonder (even in that game against le arse in the final hes looking to attack which to be fair is fine when matic and kante are ahead but fabregas was there, just pass it to him).

Even then he's up there with some proper clangers every other game but has gotten away with it this year. See rashfords opener when we played away to them and Rondon going past him when we played West Brom.

good point.

theres still weaknesses to exploit there if teams look hard. A lot of times to me teams in the prem don't seem to look until someone else shows the way then they all copy.

for example the trend now is you must play 343 to play chelsea

LFC however spotted something else. e spotted that good deep crossing can cut them up. azpi is not a Cb, he's a RB and a fine one but if you can draw luiz into chasing someone then play it in back stick from the right then you can get goals there.

You on left side cahill is good in air but pony on the ground.

It requires real analysis to break down a good side like cheslea, not copying others. thats why cheslea have won so many handy cos they can just walk over the copy cats.

LFC on the other hand have a clear weakness that only in last two games klopp found something to go try. If a side sits deep we are pony so every ****e side sits deep. sometimes we score sometimes we don't be we always give teams hope. I really hope klopp keeps the 2 up coutinho at no 8 idea going for these games.

Don't give your club too much credit. That tactic was actually first used by Spurs who beat us 2-0. A deep cross (not necessarily by the by line) into the back stick.

I prefer not to just look at these results.

Progress for me is a more holistic view of the clubs health and development

We opened a new stand. Revenues appear to have flown.
We have started a new training complex and planning progress has been great. locals love the idea
We have continued to develop the coaching staff around the grounds and have at least created a technical director position. Klopp has hired in lots of guys to work with him but at youth level progress continues. Klopp has just about everything he wants for a staff point of view.

I wish we'd announce that the anfield road end development is going ahead.
I wish we'd spend 200mil on players

Get these things right off the park and the results will follow.
