The fact is, there is more of a battle ahead than Allam realises. It is not purely his decision, regardless of what he has done for the club. A few people seem to enjoy stating FACT at things - well lets have a look at two of them. FACT #1 - Hull City AFC will exist until at least April 2014 - that was confirmed by the Premier League on Saturday. No request to change at a league level was submitted before the April 2013 deadline. FACT #2 - Hull City AFC cannot be rebranded Hull Tigers without evidence of consultation with fans. That was also confirmed by the Premier League on Saturday. Stating that the fans don't pay the Bills is not a good way of winning hearts and minds to his plan. I still support the Allams - they have been great owners - but I cannot back them on this, and getting confrontational is not the way to make things happen.
