At one point he was on the left of midfield, he was meant to be in central defence. He also gave the ball away more times than I can remember. We just don't look solid when he's at the back. Sorry but I think he's a liability. A 25m liability at that.
That's how I see it as well. Service from midfield not good enough, especially not quick enough. If we had some width to draw defenders out, Torres would have more space and even our midfield could pick him out.
