Cardiff fan in peace

Leicester have always been regarded as one of the clubs who are going to be challenging, since they have returned to the championship, with your new manager and financial muscle.......well anyone that thinks you won't be in the mix is a bit deluded,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but (and not a dig) look at QPR......could happen to us as well BTW, interesting
times ahead, forgive me if I don't wish you kuck.

'Worth' doesnt subsidies for quality in this day and age, what with over inflated signing on fees and player wages, is any Champioship striker really worth 8 million? i dont think so.

You harper on about Pitman coming from bournmouth yet Maynard came from Crewe Alexandra when we signed him so does this make Maynard a bad player, just because his previous club isnt up to scratch? i think not! oh and some stats for you to think about... Maynard scored 11 goals in his first full championship season, playing every game, Pitman scored 13 goals in his first championship season, not playing every game! Maynard then went on to score 20 league goals for us in his second season at championship level, so why cant Pitman? Pitman will be worth about 8 Million next season when hes bagged 20 goal, like Maynard did.

all of the above would sujest you know very little, so before posting total tripe, do abit of research would be my advice to you, or is that beyond a leicester fan? <doh>

I guarantee you ask any other Bristol fan and they'd say Pitman isn't as good as Maynard. If he was you wouldn't be so desperate to hang on to Maynard, and not Pitman, who I haven't heard big clubs knocking on the door about.

Matty Fryatt got 13 goals in the Championship in 2009/10, and went to Hull for £1.2m in January. Even if I was being greedy, £3m would be the most we could get for him. He was surplus to requirements here. So how does your logic work? This 'day and age' stuff isn't relevant, prices for places are compared to others in the current market. Maynard is worth £5m you claim (in this day and age) - are you really suggesting that a Championship player who scored 13 goals in a season (the same amount as a player who left for £1.2m in this day and age) and has spent just one season in the 2nd tier, is worth over £5m, in comparison to other prices in this day and age? Do me a favour.

Of course this is borderline wumming from you because you know it's a ridiculous comment that you made, which was purely used as a defence mechanism.

Im proud to be a city fan again, I can wear the shirt with some dignity. Thats what our club once lacked. We have always been big in this league but never too big, untill NOW

For Fook sake! can someone in Bristol find Maynard a pen!

Leicester havn't had this strong a team/manager/backing combination for a while, at the end of the day, this is why we are more excited/optimistic than previous seasons.
