Fletcher is exactly the type of striker we need, fantastic today along with Seb. Coates was good as Weil, because after he picked that early yellow up I thought he would go to pieces but he grew into the game well. Replace Jozy with a striker in jan and we could be in business.
Things are looking up no end, what a difference a day makes, or should that be three points, lets be greedy and get three more against Hull City. ending the year in style, onward and upwards with Gus at the helm. As we all agree a couple of changes to our striking options and a team of quality is in the making, well done SAFC.
funny thing is, Sissoko and Perez would complement us very well. they're exactly the type of players we need.
That would be a turn up, wonder what NMG would make of that Your right though two very good players there and just the sort we could use.
Sissoko drives forward through midfield with power, pace and purpose and a cracking shot/pass Perez is a nippy little ****er who has a habit of getting on the end of things and can turn defenders inside out. we miss these types of player in our set-up......... and spare full-backs.
Sissoko would complete our midfield, him Catts and Larsson would be some trio, I personally thought Alfie would become that player but the managers just did not rate him. I am hoping Rodwell will come good.
