They may be sulky fans, but as far as I'm concerned, people who post on forums but don't attend games aren't fans at all. So a sulky fan of any team is ok with me. A purely forum poster is a nobody.
Sorry Diego but it's not a good point at all. Seeing as we're talking about Chelsea fans on the forum! To refer to them as fairweather is perfectly sound.
Given that I only manage to get tickets for 4/5 games a season (plus the odd pre-season friendly) I tend not to argue with actual match goers, that being said I would imagine Chelsea fans can turn up most weeks and get a ticket much like I did in my youth
This is where you run of things to say Don't shoot the messenger Blueman. I don't blame you, you weren't around either
I have nothing against the match going fans... or @King Ossie64 who has a burger van outside the ground and was telling me the other day how he's already preparing a business plan when Chavbus are in the Championship. No, I was simply referring to the fairweather nature of Chelsea fans on here. They disappear for months and then reappear after 1 win. What else would anyone call them?
You can get a ticket for Chelsea every weekend. They have thousands of corporate and posh fans who take a season ticket just to go to the big games.
I'm just amazed how much importance you put on this forum Treb. I wasn't around, so what? I support my team by attending games.
Mate, I am from Manchester, if I had a second team in my youth it was Burnley. Chelsea have always been a joke to me
It was a passing comment on my part Blue, nothing that serious or important. I don't know what else to call them on here. You can't think much of anyone that disappears when their team loses, even on a forum, bcos that's all you know of them. Tbf it wasn't aimed at you but many of your fellow chelsea posters.
Fair enough Treb. I went away for a bit because I needed a break. I came back, whilst we were even crapper than we are now, and I take the forum for what it is, a piss take and a bit of banter. I just don't think that posting on here makes someone a better fan.
