Given that this man is not a billionaire in our country (around £800M), that is not a spectacular financial position to be in for a Premier League club with debt. 10% of his wealth is eaten up by the clubs debt and to build a strong stable side in just a couple of seasons for a club like Cardiff which the players will expect only big wages, and selling clubs demand big selling fee's, means that 30% of his wealth could easily be gone in about two seasons. For all his talk about helping poor people, will he be so willing to spend that sort of cash on the football club? The guy won't even give the previous owner his £20M!!!!
im sure he could find a partner 2 help out with money dude.........not that he`s short of a few pound like and as any true business man true 2 his game....he doesnt want sam having a good earner off his back and will try and pay as little as possible >>>>>talking about little>>>>how was your little wet dream when you visualized us broke vd???
Bellamy is class. I was gutted he left us for them as he scored a lot of important goals for us last season and was one of the few pacey attackers we had. Bellamy is better than any player that was in the Swans team when first promoted and he'd get into the Swans team now, especially with him being be able to play anywhere across the front 3.
sorry but at his age now i dont think he would make our bench, I am a big fan of Bellamy and always have been but even he knows he is past his sell by date and would struggle in the premiership now. his legs have gone to ever be a top player he once was.....top man that has had his day and playing for his final pay day...
Absolutely spot on there Dai. Take no notice thought he is just a wum that is trying to cause friction on this board again.
What must surely concern the red tits is the way they have gone from a 11 point cushion to just 4 points in the last 4 games, Its not looking so great now as we start the business end of the season. thoughts of previous seasons must be on their minds because if they carry on as they are then the playoffs is the best they can hope for....they don't want that with their record of bottling...
The bottling has begun again at the usual time of the year. Play offs at best with Crystal Palace winning at Wembley. Watford and Hull up automatic for me
lucky footy is played on the pitch instead of in bitter twats minds then hey drey .......we are top of the league and we have the advantage ......lucky us init <tosser>
I don't think Cardiff are playing Bellamy right, or at least he's clearly not getting the service he should, I was shocked to see he has only scored 4 goals this season? something is not right, because last season for Liverpool he scored 9 goals, and he wasn't played every game either, and his last full season for Mancity, he had 11 goals, you'd think he'd be having a field day in the Championship, strange!..................
We have a good core of players and we just need to build a team around those. I'd say 1 quality striker, CM, 1 or 2 defenders to make us pretty safe in the PL. Just had a quick look at Swansea's summer signings 2011, and you brought in 8 players of your own and 1 loan in the summer, but a total of 11 signings + 3 loans over the season. To answer your question: Marshall, Hudson, Turner, Whitts, Bellamy, Campbell. Others who should do a decent job up there if we don't get replacements, or as squad players are Gunnar, Noone, Smith and Maynard if they can get/stay fit. Mason and Mutch both good young players who are still developing, so hopefully those too eventually.
You are broke, no wetdream, just reality. And what do you mean Sam getting a little earner off Tan's back? It is legally and rightfully Hamann's cash and Hamann is doing the right thing by not accepting anything less, it will only cost Tan more through interest. And for the record, we certainly have nothing to be bitter about regarding Cardiff's position and Bellamy (not sure if you were the one saying it)... we are in Europe next season, what happens with Cardiff this season is non-news
Why question the inevitable. Doing a "Cardiff" is legend .... Preston 6 - 0 Cardiff wasn't it a few season back that started the slide. Better odds of Bradford beating Barca.
