Before RA came in United were the only British club will a larger income than us I can't post the link to prove at the minute it so the Wikipedia one will have to do for now http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deloitte_Football_Money_League#Rankings_for_the_2000.E2.80.9301_season At one point i think the 1999/00 season we were placed 3rd with only Real and Man Utd ahead of us so next time can we please get some accurate information to back up our arguments
Arsenal are in a transitional period. Fabregas would not have left for any other club than Barca, that was purely a move out of sentiment. Arsenal have improved without those players anyway. Nasri was always overrated. I'd define recent in terms of the here and now. There would be no point saying 10 years as 10 years ago Leeds were top 6 in the PL and are now in Championship. Wigan were in 3rd tier and city in 2nd. I would say performance in League (mainly), as well as FA Cup and CL. It was a one-off game. I'm talking about a stretch here i.e Chelsea going 33/4 league games unbeaten against Spurs or stupidness like that. For Arsenal it was something like 11 years unbeaten. No league wins at Old Trafford since 1990. Bigger clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea can go to the big grounds and win. Arsenal and Chelsea have been to OT many a time and played United off the park and won. Big clubs don't have mental blocks like Spurs. United at SB is the only exception to the rule. And Liverpool v Blackpool
