Not twisting anything mate. You said you had nothing against gays but you were relieved that both your sons liked girls. This tells me that you would rather not have them in your family, that's all.

Well, that’s not what I said, once again.

Am I happy that my sons are straight and have given me 3 lovely grandkids, yes I am. Very happy!

Exactly mate, that's the very point I'm making.

You see it all the time in real life, people think times have moved on, but in reality they haven't. People come out now, but the ingrained prejudices still exist.

Interesting point and one i was thinking of earlier. Not aimed at NSIS btw. On the politics thread, they talk above integration and diversity, but when faced with reality it seems to wane.

I’ve no prejudice at all against gays. None.

Am I glad my sons themselves are not gay, yes I am. For reasons stated.

And I'm glad for you mate, but my point stands. This is what you said.

As the father of two sons, and as much as I have nothing against gays, I must admit it was a big relief when they first showed an interest in girls.

It wasn't aimed at you, i made that clear a few comments back. It was a general observation as a whole...starting with Jasper tbph.

People don't realise they do it.

Although i hasten to add it's not discrimination to not agree with same sex relationships, it only becomes that if you treat them differently. Having an opinion is not a crime, if it's a view of difference, without insult or prejudice.

Good mate, like i asked piskie, have you actually read the thread?

I have.

I’m enthralled by it.

We need more informative debates like this.

I know your friend, Matth, likes a good mass debate.

imo gay couples adopting were normally thought to be women, now that ****s are more accepted, we are hearing off gay blokes couples doing the same.

I was talking more from the conception point of view rather than adoption, hence why i was referring to females in the main, although males could to if they had a surrogate mother. Although adoption is also a good path, particularly with many children looking for homes and parenting love.

Well a lesbian couple cant concieve a child anymore than a ****y couple. So in either case, a member off the opposite sex is needed.

Although a lezza can go and have some spunk hoyed up her at a clinic. I guess thats your point?

btw 10 pager

They use a donor with various methods available to do that. But yes either way the laws of nature dictate you need a male/female for the initial path.

This is not really a thread for metths, no need for him to venture onto it.

Be fair, mate. One day, Matth might have kids and...

Oh.

Yeah, you’re right. There’s nothing of any interest for him, here.

True story.

I have a very good friend, a ****y german. His best friend apparently was a german dyke. They decided they wanted a kid. My ****y mate donated the spunk. Kid was born. Kid calls my mate dad, they are very close..

****ed up scenario?

You are getting caught out here.

The rest off us are having a normal, reasonable debate, yet you don't seem to be able to intergrate into it. Any reason for that?

He was best mates with my ex boss {non gay} and i didn't find out for 3 years, as they were both dubious as how i'd react.

Once i did find out, we had some cracking times, he wasn't really a ****s ****. You'd never have guessed.

I think no matter how we try to skin this cat..the bottom line is, genetically males and females are two different animals...and it's all designed for pro creaction and for the long term survival of the human species. Even in nature it's the same...the male will always be bigger, for example from the female of its species...the voices are deeper etc etc...we are just meant to be the 'masculine' out of the two.

Plenty of species where the female is bigger, stronger and even eats the male after copulation ! Lots of Spiders and Manits species eat the male after they've mated. Even placing it squarely in human society. There are cultures where Matriarchy rules. From Tibet, India, to Indonesia, Africa and South America. There are lots of examples where Females rule society and their ideals are the dominant societal drivers.

Also there are loads of examples throughout the world of a '3rd gender' or non gender specific people. Littered throughout history going right back to Mesopotamia and early pan Indian and Asian cultures as well as Middle eastern and South American culture, the idea of a gender that is neither defined as 'masculine' or 'feminine' is prevalent.

I think we have to remember that 'sex' is specific, either male or female (apart from hermaphrodites) and there's a basic biological function of pro-creation. But when it comes to gender, that is a human construct, and it's as diverse as we are as people.
