    I'm more and more positive with every passing day that we shall be OK this season.

    Sure; we'll most likely miss out on the title and perhaps even fail to secure silverware but when I see the potential in this squad to play football as we like it then I'm sated to wait another year to win everything.

    D word? Absa bloody lutley! I'm drunk.

    Like many others my glass is emptying by the minute but, there again, like many others I'll be there on 13th August - guess that makes me a masochist!

    I wouldn't say optimistic but not pessimistic at all! I don't feel we'll progress much if at all from last season but i'd be surprised if we finished lower than 12th! With players like Cabaye, Tiote and Barton (and later on HBA) in midfield, Colo and Taylor in defence, Krul in goal, and Ba upfront i see no reason why we shouldn't do well. (Unless we sell everyone that is...)

    So i guess that makes me +1

    Yeah I advise the real poll for next time <laugh>

    But I was optimistic but I know our team could be up **** creek and there is nothing we can do about it. What i'd give to be able to play for the toon, would sort all our issues...
