    This is where stats do lie. If someone misses a tap in from 2 yards, does that count as a shot not being converted?

    Most observers (even neutral ones ) could see that he has been missing easy chances. The difference with the other strikers you've listed is that their misses have not impacted on their results like Salah's. Lukaku has missed more and easier chances than Salah I think.

    The thing about strikers and their goals is that by their ability to turn draws and defeats into wins they can wipe out any discussion of any deficiencies in other parts of the team. With 15 points, I can tell you that we won't be discussing Klavan, TAA, Henderson, Karius or Mignolet and their weaknesses :bandit:
