So now JJOT has left what are we currently left with lets also take out the other wanted players as well.


1. Mildenhall

2.Harrold

3. Brown

4. Clarke

5. McChrystal

6. Lockyer

7. Santos

8. Lucas

9. Harrison

Also 1st year pros Greenslade , Thomas, Ward-Baptiste, Wilson

That's 13 players we currently have and I reckon we need another 12 or 13 but the question is where are they going to come from?
 
In my opinion they have left things far too late already. It takes a while for players to get to know each other. And if they are seriously looking at players from the Conference South/North we won't be going anywhere in a hurry. Smith's still around, so the defensive areas at least have some experience. But when you look at how few games Harold has actually played we've got a big problem...
 
in your list seamge, brown and santos are out of contract and could still leave.

missing from your list, smith will stay unless we get a stupid massive offer for him. he will sign his new contract. parkes will leave and harrison. think brunt will stay.

we have 7 or so players on trial starting 30th june when players return from pre season. which maybe 1 or 2 will be signed.

i doubt we will sign many at all who are non league players.

You really thing Smith will stay? I bloody hope so. Harrison and Brown will stay IMO
 
Although they seem to be dragging their heels a bit, I expect the club are doing plenty to try to sign players, but the problem remains - if you're a league player would you really want to drop down, even if we do pay better than say someone like York or Daggers?

I would hope that we have a few bodies through the door by the start of the World Cup. Best bit of business we could do will be to keep Smudger though.
 
Far too slow to getting a squad together.....at the moment , we might as well cancel the pre-season matches!!!

I thought that DC had a list .....shows how totally useless that statement was....more waffle from the club....and
how about the top-to-bottom review...no action at all !!!!

he has a list but is everyone on that list interested in joining us? maybe not! maybe he had to do another list? maybe everyone on that list is on holiday and will sign on their return. maybe their current contract hasnt ran out yet so may not be made official until that had?

we just dont know yet.
